Christmas is right around the corner. A discovery flight would be the perfect gift. Here at Carmel Aviation we have discovery flights for your special someone interested in flying. Our Discovery flights are a $200 flat rate for a flight in our Cessna 172S which includes 1 hour of flight time. The designated CFI will introduce them to the airplane on the ground with a thorough pre-flight inspection and explanation of cockpit instrumentation. They will then depart Gowen field and per their preference we are able to vary the flight navigation to anything that interests them in seeing from an aerial perspective. They will have time to maneuver the airplane and conduct basic flight handling on the controls with the CFI assistance.
