Christmas is right around the corner.  A Discovery flight might be the perfect gift.  Here at Carmel Aviation, we have Discovery flights for your special someone interested in flying.  Our Discovery flights are $250 for a flight in one of our Cessna 172s which includes one hour of flight time.  The designated CFI will introduce them to the airplane on the ground with a thorough pre-flight inspection and explanation of cockpit instrumentation.  They will then depart Gowen field and per their preference we are able to vary the flight navigations to anything that interests them in seeing from an aerial perspective.  Your special someone will get to maneuver the airplane and conduct basic flight handling on the controls with the CFI assistance.  After returning to the school the instructor can answer anymore questions you might have about flying or our school.
