We would like to introduce everyone to N739UK. If you are a Miami Dolphins fan this will be your favorite for sure. She is a 1978 Cessna 172N with a 180hr O-360.
0 Last Minute Christmas Idea For Someone That Wants To Learn To Fly
Christmas is right around the corner. A discovery flight would be the perfect gift. Here at Carmel Aviation we have discovery flights for your special someone interested in flying. Our Discovery flights are a $200 flat rate for a flight in our Cessna 172S which includes 1 hour of flight time. The designated CFI will introduce them to the airplane on the ground with a thorough pre-flight inspection and explanation of cockpit instrumentation. They will then depart Gowen field and per their preference we are able to vary the flight navigation to anything that interests them in seeing from an aerial perspective. They will have time to maneuver the airplane and conduct basic flight handling on the controls with the CFI assistance. If you know someone that might be interested or would like to purchase a Gift Certificate contact us at 208-616-2148 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Congratulations to two of our staff members, Heidi Glenn and Scott Frank. Heidi recently obtained her Multi Engine Commercial certificate and Scott added his CFI (Instrument Instructor). Well done! You both have shown sincere determination in your endeavors in professional aviation. You continue to serve as a great example to your students that you never stop learning and hard work always pays off. We also want to send a congratulatory message to our most recent student graduates. Brett Heron obtained his Private Pilot certificate and Hunter Moir his Certified Flight Instructor certificate. Both of these gentlemen have worked exceptionally hard and have shown unwavering dedication to their aviation goals. We look forward to continuing to work with both of you in the future. Great job!
